Virginia and Stafford County value their businesses and the many contributions they make to the economy and community. The week of May 2-6, 2011, Virginia and Stafford honored businesses at the Annual Stafford Business Appreciation Luncheon. Stafford’s 2011 Business Appreciation Week (BAW) celebration was a huge success. More than 300 guests celebrated Stafford County businesses, learned about regional workforce development progress from Rick Hurley (President, UMW), and heard an update on Stafford’s economic development programs from Supervisor Susan Stimpson.
